Hi Alexis, I havent found much on this version of your MultiBomberman but as lr-multi-bomberman didnt work as well, I tried it. And I at least get a bit further than with lr-multi-bomberman (stuck at flash screen, displays osd messages that the controllers are not configured, after exit doesnt start anymore with an error about sizes not matching. Should I raise an issue in the other repository?).

I have a keyboard and 5 controllers connected (all are working in e.g. Super Bomberman 3 on SNES emulator). I can start your game but only the keyboard is fully functional. On one of the controllers when pressing the A-button I can also plant a bomb (for the same player which is controlled by the keyboard).
So this seems to be only an issue of controller mappings.
I used the latest retropie image retropie-buster-4.7.1-rpi2_3.img

I know this is also 2 years old now but any idea? Maybe just some config file that needs to be passed?
