Dev Pocket Reader

Dev Pocket Reader is a command-line application that allows you to save and manage articles for later reading. It provides a simple and efficient way to keep track of interesting articles, mark them as read, and access their content.

Features

  • List posts: View a list of all saved posts with their titles, authors, and read status.
  • Save post for later: Save a new post by providing the path or URL to the article.
  • Read post: Read the content of a specific post by selecting its index from the list.
  • Mark post as read: Mark a post as read, updating its read status.
  • Exit: Quit the application.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Ruby (version X.X.X)
  • Bundler

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/dev-pocket-reader.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd dev-pocket-reader
  3. Install dependencies:

    bundle install

Usage

  1. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd dev-pocket-reader
  2. Run the application:

    ruby app.rb
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to interact with the application.
