Problem
Sites cookies didn't persist after quitting the application.
It's a huge problem for some sites who uses Token based authentication. I've experience some sites that Logged in session didn't persist after quitting the application.
Additional Notes
I'm a web developer and my sites also not works fine because of cookie automatically clear after quit the browser.
Through the latest "trusted browsers" feature in 1Password, third-party chromium based browsers can directly connect to the native 1Password app, making it easier to unlock and fill passwords.
It appears that this feature is not working with Thorium because of a missing app signature.
Someone from the 1Password team commented on that:
"Regarding your attempted use of Thorium, my suspicion after reading your message was that it doesn't have a code signature. I checked it out myself locally and confirmed this: The developer is only distributing the build with an ad-hoc code signature, and not a "proper" development certificate/key issued by Apple. You can see this either running codesign -dvvv on the app bundle locally, or using WhatsYourSign"

I cannot log into some sites. They appear to involve third party logins and redirects. Also, the "remember me on this device" feature doesn't work on one particular (healthcare) site. It requires me to do 2FA every time. They work fine on Chrome.
These two problems appear related.
I have disabled Do not track, and allow 3rd party cookies except while in incognito mode. (I am not using incognito mode while trying to log in these sites.)
Adguard does not support the Thorium browser. Is there any way to make Adguard Desktop support this browser?

any chance to get a code signed Version of Thorium?
Background: The 1Password Extension only unlocks with TouchID when the Browser is signed. They recently activated that feature, that you can choose any browser: https://1password.community/discussion/140735/extending-support-for-trusted-web-browsers Minimum Requirement though: CodeSigned App.

After upgrading to the latest version of Thorium, some icons such as Extensions and Reload, are still colored even set chrome://flags/#disable-thorium-icons to Enabled.

I installed the Bitwarden extension, then tried to set up biometric approval with the Bitwarden Vault. I was asked for a permission, granted it, then tried to activate it. The extension then throws an error mentioning that the browser integration is not set up (see screenshot).

I am aware this might sound like a Bitwarden issue, but I have the same extension working with biometric approval in the same system with Edge, Chrome, Opera and Brave, so it does seem something specific to Thorium.

I am currently using the Thorium browser and have noticed that it lacks the vertical tab feature. This absence is causing inconvenience and frustration while managing multiple tabs.
I would like to request the addition of a vertical tab feature in the Thorium browser. This feature would allow users to view and manage their open tabs in a vertical layout, making it easier to navigate and switch between them. It would be ideal if the vertical tab feature could be implemented similar to other popular browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

The new M3 series of chips have native AV1 hardware decoding support. When playing a 4k AV1 encoded YouTube video, Safari uses around 20% of a single CPU core, however when playing in Thorium, the "Thorium Helper (Renderer)" uses 247% CPU usage.

I use an app called Multitouch to navigate tabs within apps. I have trackpad gestures assigned such as three-finger swipe left for previous tab and three-finger swipe right for next tab. It works in apps such as Firefox, ungoogled-chromium, and Finder, while Thorium doesn't seem to respond to the gestures. Two-finger swipe left and right to navigate history does work however.

I've turned on Thorium Experiments of Tab Scrolling. I don't know when it started, but when I use the Trackpad to scroll tabs horizontally, it may suddenly stuck, and then I need to start scroll again and again. (This problem can be hard to take a screenshot)
It may look like this:
Scrolling may stops abruptly, but you can tell by the black dividing lines on either side that you haven't now reached the first or the last tab.
I didn't notice this before version 116. Maybe this is a new issue in the latest 116 release? You may need to scroll a little faster to have a better chance of reproducing this issue. Please take a look and thanks for the efforts! 😊

If I have 2 user profiles in Thorium version M119 or later, when I switch between user profiles, pages become unresponsive to scroll or click or any interaction for a few minutes.
i.e.: I have both profile 1 and profile 2 windows open. I am navigating on profile 1 and things work. I switch to profile 2, where I also had some pages open and everything is unresponsive. If I go back to profile 1, things work on profile 1.
If I stay with profile 2 active for enough time (maybe even minutes), it starts working, but then if I switch back to profile 1, things don't work in profile 1.
