in the split view I don't see the close button! Also, when there are too many tabs, I can't slide to close the last one. It became really buggy since the new update!

When I split window and move tabs between window.

I had installed 'WD Minimap' and then I installed your plugin. It's works well, but when I press the right button for 'hide toolbar' the 'minimap' dissapear. When I try to press again the button for 'show toolbar', toolbar is showed, but the minimap still not working. The button for 'show worklist' doesn't work too.

i loved the tabs, great job, but what is annoying me is the working files in the left, because they are useless now. how can i disable it?

You promised me icons, I don't have any!

I want to disable the icons, but not just the extra sidebar ones, the ones on the tabs as well. I want the tabs to use the icons from a separate icon set as they did in version 4.0.1

I'd like to suggest a small css change that will clean up the file list.

As it is now, the filetype icons are all different widths, which causes the filenames to jut all over the place. Here's a sample of how it looks now:

With a bit of css they can be straightened out to look much cleaner, like this:

I edited the iconpackage.css file and added a couple of lines:

I'm not sure if there's a more elegant way to do this, but so far it seems to work well for me. Ymmv. Thanks for this great extension!

I wish the extension would correctly handle split mode.

When in split mode it seems the extension only shows the files opened on the first (left/top) view, and it takes the whole width of the screen.

This is really confusing, and you don't have access to your files opened on the second view.

I know that is not an issue, but can I do that and how?

First, thanks for your plugin, it's really useful.

Next, I got a small issue after installing it. It was on 2.0.0 and show me the update button, but I was unable to click it (disabled button)

I just delete and reinstall the plugin and now it shows me v2.5.0.

The file tree now shows three icons after the 5.0.9 update. I had Brackets Icons 1.5.6 installed, disabling it resolved the issue. Re-enabling Brackets Icons didn't have an effect - single icons, no double or triple. I've removed Brackets Icons from my setup as I suppose I no longer have a need for it...

I'm seeing the below pic as of the latest update to your excellent extension. Note that file type icons are tripling up for each file. My assumption here is that it's a problem with custom - tabs working and not another extension like https://github.com/ivogabe/Brackets-Icons

It'd be nice if the settings UI that pops up every update would be accessible through a menu. It also looks very cluttered so a better view would be great too!

The file list on the right pane in split view is not auto hiding:( for left panel it works

currently, on my usual setup, I'm missing an icon for .editorconfig files. Maybe something similar to .project icon would be fine.

I use the plugin on both windows and mac. I have a tile scroll mouse on windows and magic mouse for mac. The vertical scroll on the tabs bar seems a bit unnatural. Will it be possible to have a setting to change this option?

There are two items that are glitchy in my opinion.

First: for some reason, the hover state of the sidebar stops working every so often. There is no rhyme or reason for the issue, so I can't really go into more detail than that.

Second: I like the hover state of the sidebar, however, I'd like the choice to keep the sidebar closed, and continue using hover without having to set it up every time I open Brackets. The way it is now, the sidebar is open when I go into Brackets, and I have to collapse the sidebar every time. I'd like the sidebar to remain collapsed.

The file list popup is not hidden/dismissed when file selected or clicked outside, I have to click on the button again.

I't could be be silly for some people and irrelevant..
I think the flat icons for html and css are pretty stunning, but the dot-circle-o,svg need to be changed. Is a little bit uggly.
There's no doubt that this extension is freaking awesome.

Maybe an option to choose which icons we want to show would be great.

I'm not sure if it would be possible, but it would be awesome to be able to pin certain files to the tabs and have them be there independent of project/working folder (like the start menu of windows these days).

I thought it would be perfect for e.g. easily adding new snippets (by pinning snippets.json) to Emmet (just an example), I'm sure there would be other use cases (perhaps a default package.json or grunt.js or whatever!)

But I've just come across a major issue.
I updated the extension to v5.0.1 but then hastily closed the settings pop-up that popped up after restarting Brackets. Now I just can't seem to find it! I don't know if I'm missing something but I just can't find it under any menu.
Now the reason why I want to find the settings is I can't seem to type the uppercase letter 'T' into any editor. I remember seeing Shift + T used as a key binding in the settings pop-up.

Hi, i opened a new project and the extension was broken all over the place. The tab bar is red, files don't open in new tab, the settings icon is missing when in single view and the dropdown "explorer" doesn't even show the current open file, just a white arrow.

I found that new tabs cease being created after opening dot-files without an extension; such as .editorconfig or .htaccess, but NOT .brackets.json.

As long as these files are in the working files double-click opening, or opening and saving, no longer adds new files to the tabs list even though they are in the working files list. And once closed, any missing tabs will reappear.

Also moving these special files within the working list in the sidebar show that it and all files below it to not have tabs.

I found a bug a bit annoying, I have the brackets divided into two, and when passing a tab from one side to the other, I step away and none appears in the bar, the alleged bar I have three tabs but none appears, I have to restart the brackets to display it.

I hope it is resolved soon!

I use Brackets Icons by Ivo Gabe de Wolff and after installing this Tabs extension, I have a weird bug of unwanted double icons.

How do I solve this problem? It doesn't look alike as Tabs extension official screenshot.

When I have several files open and the filenames are too long, the tabs disappears on the right side and they are only accesible by the menu.

If I select one of the "invisibles" tabs I can work with the file, but I don't see the current tab in the tab bar.

A posible solution would be to make posible navigate between tabs.

Another solution could be make it responsive like the tabs in Sublime:
In the screenshot if we make the window editor smaller the tabs will be smaller too, but all visibles.

Great addon, just not enough icons for files with .tpl extension

You get a warning that both extensions are possibly modifying the same area and "Extensions Toolbar Reposition" gets disabled. Is this fixable at all or do we have to decide which of those to use?

I would like to see keyboard shortcut to hide sidebar. Also another shortcut which shows up file list would be nice.
