This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.
Yarn is a package manager that is faster and more predictable than npm, with better performance and a more user-friendly interface. Yarn uses a parallel download process, a lockfile for consistency, and an optimized dependency resolution algorithm for complex dependency trees. Thus here we suggest to run yarn commands rather than npm, in the project directory, you can run:
Run the above command to install the dependencies required to run this project
After installing all the dependencies run this command for running the project.This will give options like: start, build, eject.
Now write start for running the project in your local host.
The Home page of the website has some famous places whose weather conditions can be searched for and besides that it has a current location feature to use our current location to fetch weather details and also has a search bar with an autocomplete feature to search for all the places in the world
Search to give the weather conditions of the searched location , Today will give the details of hourly weather conditions and Week will give the weather forecast for the next three days , besides this the button to switch from celsius to fahrenheit is present
When a location is searched , not only do we get the today and week weather details but also a highlights section is present at the bottom of the page which tells us additional details like UV , Pressure , Cloud , Humidity. The location being searched is present in bold in the side bar where additional details like sunrise , sunset etc are also mentioned and the bottom of the side bar is a home button to return back to the home
The website also has a feature of geolocation which allows to take our current location on our permission and fetches all the weather conditions based on that
