htree's Issues

Please clarify the license and include a copy of the license in the tarball

Hi,

As a member of the Debian Ruby team, I am preparing an update of the htree package for Debian.

Could you please make the license of this work more explicit? The README mentions that the license is that of Ruby, which meant at the time the project was first released,
ruby's specific conditions listed here:
https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/about/license.txt
or GPL-2. In the meantime, Ruby's alternative license changed from GPL-2 to BSD-2-clause. Does the same apply for your project?
Please include a LICENSE file with the Ruby's license mentioning if it is (Ruby's clauses or GPL-2) or (Ruby's clauses or BSD-2-clause) and in the former case, include a COPYING file with the copy of the GPL-2 license, as required.

Thanks in advance.

please consider moving htree.rb and htree/ in a lib/ subdir

Hi,

If you happen to release a new version, could you please consider the possibility to move htree.rb and htree in a lib/ directory, so that the structure of the project is more similar to what has now been the standard layout for Ruby libraires/gems?

This would make life fro packages a little bit easier, because it means some automated tools can be used.

Thanks in advance.

Cédric
