Snaps are universal Linux packages that can be installed and run on many GNU+Linux distributions with ease. I've been following the Snapcrafters instructions and have built a working snap on the Snap Store, you may try it by running the following commands after installing snapd:

# snap install open-syobon-action

Refer the following screenshot:

the ▽ spikes on the ceiling are not displayed properly.

Some are like Spikes, Textures for Level 9, and some other.

Fix: Insert new Textures from the OG Game that includes Syobon Action 2 and reprogram the texture variables

Hitting the information boxes (e.g the one at the start of level 2 before your go down the pipe) causes the game to become unresponsive forcing you to quit.

For computer screens nowadays this size is quite unsatisfying, is there anything we can do with it?

For example, Mari0 has an option to adjust the "scale" of the game:

There is no license specified for the source code and the resources. The following is not enough for this to qualify as an open-source project, since the following doesn't even allow modification and isn't clear on redistribution ("if you wish" doesn't mean "you can").

How to fix this:

• Add a free license such as GPL-3.0-or-later (recommended) or Apache-2.0 to the source code.
• License the resource files under a free license, such as CC-BY-SA-4.0.

This is of course only possible if you have created all of the files, which I assume might not be the case since this is a port, in which case you need to get a permission from the original author(s) to re-license their work.
