Great update to include layer styles! was well needed!

• would be great if we could have an option for the drop down list to be alphabetically arranged.
• A plus would also to have a colour preview next to the layer-style; like how sketch overides work and how the old overideit plugin used to work

More like a suggestion here.
It would be awesome to attach the overrideit window to the right panel so it easy to toggle. A bit like the Craft plugin.
Don't know if it's possible.

when I select another symbol but they are the instances of the same master, the values in the overideit panel not changed. It shows the overrides values of the previous selected one ,not the current one.

When i click on an override the input focus should automatically go to the search box so i don't have to do an extra click every time.

The plugin window apparently doesn't show up for me when running the plugin command, whether a symbol is selected or not. Not sure if I am doing something wrong here. I am using Sketch v52.6 and macOS Mojave. Also tried with Sketch Beta 53.

Great idea for a plugin, though, looks really handy!

I've just installed the plugin via Runner and tried to use it after restarting Sketch.

When I open the OverrideIt window, I click on a dropdown and they all say "None" instead of showing the list of available symbols, so I'm not able to use the plugin to override anything. If I use the normal Sketch override panel I can see them all fine, so they are all the correct sizes to override properly.

Is this an issue with the plugin or am I doing something wrong?

Your plugin works really cool for icon overrides and such, but since Sketch 52 our team team has moved to shared styles overrides and the fill override now looks empty. It would be really cool to be able to search shared style overrides for symbols.

Our team for example has almost 100 shared styles, categorised of course, but with search it would be so much better.

My interface is broken by default, tried to increase the size of the window but didn't help.

1.I've noticed that the response time to show override symbols significantly increases with the increase of the same size symbol in the document.
2.one of my biggest pain point in sketch override is scrolling, for cases like icon we can easily fit in 4 icons in a row if we opt not to show symbol solution. not ideal for scenarios may be based on size ratio you can differentiate ? or anything preseeded by 'Icons/' maybe? I don't even know inbuilt scroll function even. allows it.

Is it possible to start modify the text overrides value as fast as possible? Just select and press the Enter Key, the input focus is change to the first text input box of the overrideit panel . And I can input the new text immediatilly.

Would be great to have some kind of indication (like on basic sketch) to identify your layer style colour or text quickly. The layer style colour in a circle or a radius box would be awesome.

Also a plus if the layer list was arranged by name ect :)

with some long text overides, the input box is too small.
I think the input box should extend automaticall accroding to the lenght of the text. But not to drag it bigger mannually everytime.

I am having an issue with an override that I change to none. Once I do that the original is no longer available in the list in Overrideit but is still visible within Sketch Overrides

Would it be possiple to add a option to swap multiple override values at once? such as all symbol overrides that are having the same value to be swapped with another value symbol, preferably using shared library’s 😎an example would be an artboard, page or symbol with the same x5 shared colour overrides values being swapped for another colour value in the same shared library at once 😎😎😎😎👍🏻

Loving this plugin.

When I run the plugin it manifests on my Mac's screen, not on my second monitor where I'm working in sketch. I move it over to the second screen, where I'm working with Sketch and when I'm done I close the window. If I reopen the overrideit window, the position is not remembered, and it reopens on my Mac screen again. It's a small thing, just wanted to surface.

I would love if this could remember it's screen, position, and size.

Plugin is great but I have a small issue. When I place it on my second monitor, whenever I select a new symbol, the window jumps back the monitor that contains the Sketch window.

It would be great if the plugin could remember it's monitor, position & size.

When I have the overrideit panel selected and I tap the [esc] key on my keyboard it closes the overrideit window and when I try to bring it back but it doesn't show up. I have to wait few minutes to see the window again.
Also, the [esc] key comflicts with the Sketch native shortcut. Most of us use the [esc] key to escape from an object selected. So most of the time I close the overrideit window by mistake.

It would be great to cancel the overridit shortcut so the [esc] key doesn't close the overrideit window.

If I override the content of a text block with lone breaks, the OverrideIt text box contains the correct text, but line breaks are not shown correctly.

Your plug in rocks!
I use it a lot when I have a large library of symbols, eg. Icons. It is particularly useful because I can search quickly for the icon I want by taping the name of it.

However, I use Material icons and the library is pretty big. When I click on the drop-down to look for an icon, it takes ~5-6 second to load. It would be awesome to reduce the loading time.

your idea for plugin is great and the perfect tool for big libraries.

Unfortunately you are making an external url call to https://overrideit.migoart.com/?=v0.3.9 whenever I try to open the plugin (my-command.js).

As I am not allowed to open external connections (and there a tracking codes in the html), the plugin is therefor not usable :(

Is there a plan to make the tool offline/firewall workable?
