Some characteristics:

1. Kept as simple as possible
2. Toggleable
3. One pane with the entries of the cwd (directories and Markdown files) and the possibility to go one level up or deeper, or two panes with folders and Markdown files separately
4. One search input field to filter files dynamically
5. Clicking on an entry loads the file (acts like Ctrl-O) and maybe hides the browser
6. Markdown files should be listed as "most recently accessed first"

The text editor widget is a resizable textarea. Resizing the editor might be a bit weird, because it leads to unexpected editor positioning. Take a look at the attached screenshot.

I believe this can be solved if a resize: none is added to the widget style.

At some instances, when typing, the textarea automatically scrolls down and so does the HTML area due to synchronized scrolling. This may be related to sync scrolling.

Would you please consider adding a way to toggle the menu bar? I love the minimal UI, but the menu bar kinda gets in the way.

Would you please consider support theming? The UI is great as it is now, but it might be a bit too whitey for a lot of people's tastes (I am one of those).

Since #2 the menu bar is hidden by default. It should be visible instead and there should be a way to toggle this from the view menu.
