There's a fix in place for this, but it needs more testing. We now store the ID of any tweets that were made and a copy of the JSON record that we had when the tweet was made. If we detect an update to an event that was previously tweeted, we'll send a reply to the original tweet (for certain events only).
It seems like there are a lot of reasons that an event may be updated. It would be worth sorting out what those are and preparing different tweets for different cases.
