My nexus 5 cannot log data of microsoft band 2. I granted storage permission successfully because photos could be saved through camera tile.

Hi! For some reason the app won't log in the background even though I have that option chosen. I can see it in my recent apps, but nothing gets added to the files unless I open the app again. I'm using a Band 2 and an HTC phone running Android 6.0 (and no task manager apps or anything like that.)

This might be a stupid question but is it possible to set this app up and trying to enhance it a bit by adding the notifications of peaks with heartrate.

But i'm getting an error while setting up, the program can't find the googel service json file, there's an encrypten one in the file. So the quesiton is , is it allowed and possible to enhance the app a bit for personal use and if so, could you help me setting it up in android studio.

I would really like it if you could add "IMG_" prefix to the images taken with the camera tile from the band. It seems that this prefix is required for the images to be recognized as photos in the default (and some non-default) image viewers I have on my phone -- Photos, File Manager.

I changed the storage location to be the same location as the default camera to see if that would allow the photos to get recognized, no luck. I manually renamed the photo to add "IMG_" to the beginning of the filename the camera tile generated and this allowed it to be picked up and recognized by all of the photo apps.

I believe this is the correct fix, but if there is another way that allows the default "photos" app to pick up the new photos and back them up then that is acceptable as well.

I have a LG G4 android 6.0. Wuth MS Band 2The app worked fine a cupple of months ago. Sensors worked I could change the theme etc. Now it says that it can not connect to the band. The other thing is I had my band changed due to malfunction.

I can send the tile and barcode to the Band 2 but get a black screen when viewing barcode.

Hi, I'm finding this app to be extremely useful. I have some questions regarding the sensor sample rates.

Currently with my phone and band, the nominal GSR sample rate is 5 Hz independent of
setting the rate to the 200 Hz or to the 5000 Hz settings in the App. Also, the acceleration sampling rate is largest when the 16 Hz rate set, and seems to correspond to an actual, nominal sample rate which is equal to 60 Hz.

Are there conditions under which the sample rates that can be selected manifest in recorded data in
the logs that have been collected at the selected sample rate? If so, under what settings and/or conditions?

Lastly, the aggregated data log contains measurements reported approx. every 1/8 seconds. What
sets the sample rate (about 8 Hz) for data in the aggregate log?

Help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

After upgrading OnePlus X to Android 6 the app can't connect to the band anymore.
It shows the give access to media dialog on every startup,
it displays the overlay dialog at every startup, but the app is not showing up in the overlay permission menu,
it writes out "band connected" multiple time and after that the "can't connect" message.
Nothing is showing up in sensors.

No matter what I do the camera feature will not work and display a permission denied pop-up. Also, would there be anyway to create a voice commands feature or speak to reply option using the band's microphone?

When I try to crop a photo the screen just freezes

I enabled the log heart beat sensor, but it seemed when the phone's screen get off about 10 mins, the green lights on the back of band will get off, and can't record the heart rate any longer.
