Problems Activating Proxy Settings

in the blog page the author says:

Go to Settings — Advanced — Low-level settings — pref.excluded.packages and be sure that the option contains the com.adguard.vpn line at the end. If it doen’t exist, please, append it to the end.

Question: I do not see "com.adguard.vpn at the end" in the options in Low-level settings???

Go to Settings — Net — Proxy and add the new one proxy with the IP address 127.0.0.1 and the 1080 port. You can check whether the connection works by tapping the button at the bottom of the dialog.

Comment: I configured a new proxy with settings (HTTP 127.0.0.1 port 1080 and then "proxy connection is not working"

Final: I used another proxy configuration "SmartDnsProxy" and "surprise It Works"

Please Help me with the integration

I have been using since this since the first build of Adguard VPN and I have seen this issue since about a month or so.
I can barely connect any location considering it doesn't let me use the app properly and I can't even tweak any settings to find out what is causing the issue.

OpenVPN support for AdGuard VPN

@Wibblyw commented on Wed Sep 09 2020

Problem Description

Please consider AdGuard VPN support for OpenVPN as a client. This will open up AdGuard benefits to private VPNs.

Proposed Solution

Enhance AdGuard VPN with an option to support OpenVPN as a client and configuration for private VPN servers, so users have a VPN client that plays nicely with the main AdGuard product.

Alternatives Considered

Today, when firing up a 3rd party VPN client, AdGuard does not play nicely with it, so AdGuard has to be paused for the duration of the VPN session, and restored afterwards.

Additional Information

AdGuard VPN is today focused on supporting privacy for general internet use. Adding OpenVPN client support means users of private VPNs can easily benefit from the protection of the main AdGuard product whilst using their VPN.

Additional Information

Please improve the UI of split-VPN function.

@ameshkov
Your now split-VPN function is divided into 2 parts: regular/selective mode and apps setting, which is bad design.
In the regular/selective mode section, you design to swipe the page for selecting regular/selective mode.
But users may be unfamiliar with this kind of selecting method.
We may think we only swipe it and not select it.
We are used to click for choosing something, not swipe for choosing something.

I suggest to combine regular/selective mode and apps setting to the same section, which is more instinctive.

  1. In this section, have a switch to enable/disable split tunneling.
  2. When disabling split tunneling, AG VPN is working for everything. No exclusions.
  3. When enabling split tunneling, AG VPN is only working for specific domains or apps.
  4. Under split tunneling, we have exclusive/inclusive mode for specific domains or apps.
    inclusive mode: Only the selected domains or apps will go through AG VPN.
    exclusive mode: The selected domains or apps won't go through AG VPN.
