Adguard DNS block required domains for polish sites VOD.

When AdguardDNS is Active then cannot playing any content on player.pl site for example. It's showing adblock detect.

Polish filters have enabled whitelisting for:

Thanks to AdGuard Home, it is now possible to report broken apps/websites or missed trackers. Where is the best place to report such things for the Simplified DNS Filter?

Reporting that dc.webtrends.com needed to be unblocked from the AdGuard SDNS filter in order to have the ABC iView app launch on a Telstra TV (Roku powered device), otherwise it crashes instantly.

Disabling Teredo might be ok with AG for Windows but it's not a good idea to block it on DNS level since gaming on XBOX becomes useless.

Возникла проблема в работе приложений для Android от компании Яндекс, а именно Музыка, Радио и Беру. Иногда не воспроизводится, не запускается абсолютно, заявляя о отсутствии интернета и то же самое в отношение последнего приложения при
кладке товара в корзину соответственно.

Анализ показал, что адрес startup.mobile.yandex.net отвечает за работоспособность, в особенности при первом запуске после инсталляции одного из этих приложений. Для проверки запись сопоставления с IP внес в hosts и работа сервисов восстановилась.

I notice that the Telstra TV devices ping to ‘logger.tv.telstra.com.au’ often and I was wondering if this could be added to the AdGuard SDNS Filter? Not sure what information is being sent to it but it doesn't affect functionality, could either be for analytics or tracking.

Can continue to blacklist this myself, but it might benefit others to have this blocked as well on a broader spectrum.

So i’m confused about how/if to use the DNS servers and the DNS filters. That is, whether I should or shouldn’t be using the DNS filters In conjunction with the DNS servers, or if this is redundant. Because the DNS filter is almost 25,000 rules. But the wording seems to indicate, to me, that it should be used in conjunction with the DNS servers... “simplified specifically to be compatible with DNS-blocking”. If I enable the AdGuard base filter, along with the DNS filter, I hit my filter limit. That’s it.

So I guess this is kind of a free-form feature request, that is for clarity in the documentation on how and when to use these. Because not being able to add any other filter beyond these two is kind of a bummer.

Please check if it should be blocked. We have two related rules on our list: ||uralweb.ru^ and ||hc.uralweb.ru^

https://mediametrics.ru/rating/ua/online.html is some kind of news aggregator, please take a look and consider whitelisting it.

I'm the submitter for the issue.

My main filtering method is through private DNS and not via the app. I installed the app specifically for the logs.

Adguard DNS with default configuration locks the domain Tinder.app.link, it's the domain used to see on Tinder a user profile shared by a friend. With Google DNS or with my isp DNS the domain tinder.app.link works.

I frequently have to turn it off to go look at errors reported for software I develop at HoneyBadger. Is that something you’d consider whitelisting? It’s just an error reporting tool, not really a tracker per se…

Не резолвятся адреса, которые через dyn.com получены.

Есть несколько ip камер, к которым привязан ddns сервис dyn.com т.к. ip на них не статический. Если на устройстве (ноутбуки, телефоны) стоит adguard dns "По умолчанию" (в моём случае это роутер keenetic, и приложение для iphone), то эти устройства категорически отказываются находить камеру по ddns имени. Хотя доступ по ip есть. Отключаем adguard dns -и доступ по доменному имени есть. Меняем на камерах сервис на другой - доступ без проблем.

When using https://filters.adtidy.org/windows/filters/15.txt as a dns-level ad blocking list, I can't access https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_malvertising.txt. Is this the expected behaviour? Could these two domain names/rules be the cause?

Заметил в последнее время что приложение YouTube для iOS перестало записывать историю просмотра. Посмотрев логи, заметил что адрес s.youtube.com занесен в черный список. Именно он отвечает за сохранение истории сервиса YT.

При использовании DNS для блокировки рекламы, блокируются сервера системы видеонаблюдения ivideon:

Android Pi tells me there is no internet connectivity and switches to Mobile data and doesn't use AdGuard DNS. It uses the Mobile providers DNS instead.

I see that this filter blocks DNS requests on the Android app, so I tried to use another filter with the same format:

To block more domains via DNS, however once added to the app, it treats the list like a normal adblock list (blocking HTTP GET). Is there something special I can do to make Android treat it as a DNS block list?

I know it's not 100% related to this, but as the list uses the same format, I'd expect it to work in the same way. Not sure if it's a bug with Android, or if I'm doing something wrong. They provide block lists in other formats here: https://github.com/AdroitAdorKhan/Energized none seem to work.

The only thing that does seem to block DNS requests is if you click a DNS request from the log file, then choose to block it from there.

I'm using Adguard DNS servers ( 176.103.130.130 and 176.103.130.131 ) on my home network in Canada.

Everything was working fine up until June 2019 but off late it is giving trouble with legit Android apps and websites like Flipp Weekly Flyers and their corporate website https://www.flipp.com.

I get This site can’t be reached www.flipp.com’s server IP address could not be found. error on trying to access this site.

What is the issue here? I have checked everything else on my end. The site promptly opens up and the Android app also loads all flyers with thumbnails when I use 4G/LTE on my phone with cellular data!

Please look into it and rectify the error. 90% of Canadians use the Flipp app regularly and all flyers are getting blocked!

Afaik, it's a legit website that offers a number of network-related services

Originally reported here 1978293, I managed to reproduce it in Adguard Pro with both Default and Family DNS.

1. crystalout.surfernetwork.com

This is a legitimate domain from which multiple online radio stations stream themselves. Examples (all work in Windows Media Player, Winamp, VLC, mplayer, etc.):

(These radio stations' home pages are www.kcxl.com and ksjbam.com.)

2. my.mixtape.moe
3. files.catbox.moe

Both of these domains belong to the file upload/download services https://mixtape.moe/ and https://catbox.moe/. These are also legit services, which sometimes experience abuse by users. When the abuse is reported, the hosts remove the offending files. Their entire domains should not be blocked, as 99% of the legitimate users cannot upload or download from them as a result.

I was wondering if I could extract this as a hosts file (ex: https://v.firebog.net/hosts/AdguardDNS.txt) and use it with pihole?

Whole duckdns.org domain is being blocked by this filter which is bad. Duckdns is dynamic DNS service used commonly to access you home server with dynamic IP address from the internet.

Steps to reproduce

1. Try to visit duckdns.org or any subdomain like XXX.duckdns.org
2. Site is blocked even if it has zero connection to Ads

I expect to be able to access the site and my subdomains on that site
