Maybe I'm wrong but I can't create the macro to insert a comma:
"/,!i(,)" does not work, it creates an "i" and slows down the keyboard.
Another problem is that in the "termux" application the commands "j" & "k" for move the cursor don't work, but I think this is not a kboard problem.
!sw does not work
Hi, I'm a logo designer, I saw your project and I can make a free logo for your project. So, what do you think?
Add redo and undo
With the last commit to the master being just over a year ago (as of this Issue), I wanted to confirm if this project is still active or maintained.
/as [keys] [Whatever text you want]
This would add a line to a file for shortcuts that identifies "keys" as a shortcut for "Whatever text you want". It would do this instead of adding /as... as a new command.
/es
This would be the first command in my list. It would DW iff the last word is in the shortcut file as a key and insert in its place the "Whatever text you want", and then qq. If the last word isn't in there, it would do nothing.
I will take a look later and maybe add it myself if I'm capable.
It would be nice to be able to send TAB and other special characters like etc
the curl funtion sames like not working on android 8.1 ?
not fastlane/fastlane/metadata/...
but fastlane/metadata/...
;)
I use a multi language keyboard so for me to get to kboard-integration I have to go through my Japanese keyboards.
I'd love to be able to just stay in kboard for certain convos, but for that I need to be able to type.
Of course icanhazdadjoke doesn't return plaintext by default so I end up retrieving broken chars. I tried "piping" the output to utf(): curl(icanhasdadjoke.com),dd,utf($0)
which did not seem to help. Any suggestions?

How to find and replace [](exampletext)
to <!-- exampletext -->
I use them but doesnt work
/example!fr([](exampletext);<!-- exampletext -->)
or
/example!fr(\[\]\(exampletext\);<!-- exampletext -->)
It's a great keyboard, but with an option to also change number of columns, it would be possible to create user-defined custom layouts and do many more things.
Would you mind making your app available to "Google free" people? It seems to meet the inclusion criteria of F-Droid, so I could help you getting it listed there. Alternatively, adding the APK to your release tags would be a good start (and enabling me to add it to my repo immediately).
I can't use the qq function,Then want the url to open the function,
The biggest problem at present is that I can't use the qq switching function. This one is completely different from pressing the earth key, because it can wait for the action to be completed before switching. If the action is not completed, if it is switched, the action will be invalid.
e(something,qq) Perhaps the most useful feature
Dear sir can you change the api level of this application to make it workable on jelly bean 4.1.1 + devices.
@adgad Are you still maintaining this project?
Android 10+ allows the system to be dark themed. Moreover, kboard itself can be themed so it is dark in colour. But opening kboard settings immediately hits you with a bright white menu.
Please keep a dark theme option for kboard settings as well, preferably one which follows system theme by default.
I recently bought a Unihertz Titan qwerty phone. Its keyboard lacks a few special letters that my native language has, so I was looking for a keyboard that could give me one row of keys where I could put these, so they will always be accessible above my physical keyboard. kboard seems to fit that description well, but when I set it to display only one row I don't get a row of letters but rather one letter at a time and a key for switching between them. Choosing three rows gives me standard rows, however. Could there perhaps be an option to have a row of, say, six-seven letters also in one row mode?
I am using the img() function as follows:
/Download!ds,img(i($0))
It seems to be providing no output in various apps that I tried.
Could part of this be modularized for use on iOS/ iPhone? Maybe as separate or overlapping projects?
I am sure the core "hooks" into the OS API's will be different by the "on the top" functionality could be used across the board?
e.g. Kodi and various Open Source projects that have functionality that's open and others that's subject to Underlying OS/ API.
Hello,
A F-Droid developer recommended kboard to me, I installed it, tested it, liked it and immediately started using it.
What I miss in kboard is an option to add labels for snippets so I would like to suggest a tiny enhamcement:
Examples:
This may be implemented by adding an additional text box in Edit Key- Label box below Text box. If a label is inserted in Label box this label will appear in kboard in stead of the snippet. If Label box is left empty the actual snippet will appear in kboard.
Without this option for labels that substitute the actual snippets shown in kboard the long snippets are truncated and do not look very good.
Regards
if it can open url
I think it would be helpful to have a spot where users can contribute their custom key setups in an easy manner. I've just learned how powerful this keyboard can be and I'm sure I haven't scratched the surface.
If you agree, what would be the best way to accomplish this?
My thoughts are that the simplest method might be to create an issue titled Custom Keys then immediately close it so it doesn't clutter your open issues. Then link to that thread from the README.
I'm not familiar with the github wiki process, etc., but if you like this idea I'm open to suggestions.
