Hi!
I didn't know how else to contact you, so this is me writing you.
I am not a big small talker, therefore I get to the cake right away...
I noticed that the latest Samsung Internet (normal and beta) are running chronium version 83. As you know thats a bit behind the up-to-date version. I was wondering why.
The current version has A LOT of fixes for current android versions, especially for the autofill API for password managers which is in dear need of a sanity check on Samsung Internet.
So... are you guys backporting commits? Is your own codebase so much off (or rather optimized) that it's hard to keep up? Are there other reasons, why your team decided that for now 83 is fine?
These are serious questions, without the intent of bashing you or your team as I am sincerely curious and interested to know. It would be a great great topic for xda and Samsung's Developer blog. It actually would be great to know.
