Great, thanks for this! I'm working two jobs right now so it'll be a while until I run through and close these issues. I definitely want to get these up to date.

But if you don't want to wait, feel free to fork and submit a pull request.

Thanks.

I thought about both you being busy & have to "put Kickstrap" on the back burner, & me making a pull request. But I'm wondering if a new Bootstrap & jQuery versions will be out just before you resume development?

For now please consider this issue = medium priority, hold until able to jump in.
Thanks :)

I hate this kind of attitude and its the bane of open source projects running the rocks with only a one cause for blame, a one sided lazy, leaching community, it has been the death of many promising pieces of code. Would you like to see this one abandoned too Tom?

You just walked these findings through their paces, wait see now it's already a day ago and you were thorough enough to collect these links, you even picked up some facts along the way to boast about. That you took extra time out to post a comment here at the same time leads me to believe you did have some free time on your hands.

Adam on the other hand can be considered busy, he's kept no secrets about it yet he still seems to be the first person to respond to every new issue! Kudos! If you haven't been paying attention he is trying with all his might to get the rest of you wise asses to pull some finger.

Now you see what you did here Tom, as you are not the only one using this repository, you not only created another work item which you obviously don't care much about it getting resolved, why on earth did you bother to log it then. All you accomplished were to create a bigger backlog which others start noticing as signs of a project loosing momentum, you should know how do you judge the viability of the open source software you use?

Since you are not alone here, how many people now need to go walk those same paces you did and maybe they have the skills to update the tree and maybe they don't. All that was asked of you was only to check it in and request Adam to pull it from you. Making his life easier, helping the project and in the same breath getting this ticket that YOU made closed.

The worst part here is that you actually took the attitude that since it's Adam's project he can do all the work thank you very much please. You will check in frequently to let everyone know that progress is slipping and do everything in your power to demotivate our host and other eager worker bodies that frequent these shores. It would've taken you less time to upload the source than what it will take you to read and respond to this retort so don't bother replying unless you have a fork of Kickstrap at the very least.

It doesn't have to be perfect it doesn't have to be rocket science either because every small thing you do saves someone else from having to do it as well. As far as I understand we are dependent on both those project and do you know what happens if we skip a release as you have suggested? Lots of kittens will die!

So don't hurt the kittens and play nicely... and as always thank you for your attention and time, without you there is no reason for others to pay attention either. I hope you will see this reprimand in an encouraging light and that can grasp the the the seriousness of the matter, we cannot, no open source project should ever see discussions where the community openly chooses or suggests that 2nd best is good enough. I might have been a tad hard on you, tired also over worked and maybe my fuze is burning short. You came of easy I'll have you know... this time =)

It really doesn't get easier than this =)
https://github.com/nickl-/Kickstrap/commit/ea30d00d959d1252ca98c535b02044d0d9359eec

jQuery updated to 1.7.2 which fixes a bug with negative margins http://bugs.jquery.com/ticket/11469 and keeps us on the edge without bleeding due to unknowns or from slacking behind.

Both index.html and sample_index.html are updated now and it only took a ++ on the minor version number since google CDN is already locked and loaded and it's business as usual. To work off-line download the the new version from http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.7.2.min.js into the extras/h5bp/js/libs/ folder and Bob is the uncle you never had.

nicki, thanks for the info.
Now for your info, as a rule of thumb, I do not make core changes I do not test thoroughly. Like the author, I am very busy. I do expect to use Kickstrap at a later time, & when I do, I can only then A/B if my suggestions will break Kickstrap.

Nicki, thanks for making those changes. Did you intend to have those implemented in Kickstrap? If so, please submit a pull request from your fork and I'd be happy to accept it.

Hi Tom, the h5bp specific discussions has continued at #26 please see if you still feel something is missing as I am under the impression that this a18ab05 should include everything up and till h5bp/html5-boilerplate@c20eb1a the 25th of April

Please continue discussions about h5bp-update at #26 as this concluded the changes required for jQuery and can be closed.
