Hey Ryan, Thanks for the feedback. As you know, this is a new project and we're working on documentation. Hopefully these things will be documented in the next week or so for ya.
As for your specific questions:
- The
:as
option on ActiveAdmin.register changes the entire representation of the object to Active Admin. ie: it changes routes and all the display locations of the resource. Currently, this is the only way to change the name of the resource in the menu. - The menu method is where all of these things will be set. Currently, menu only implements the
:parent
option. I've created 2 tickets for setting the menu name and priority.
