Could you do some articles on this? I have been doing something similar for elementary OS at https://github.com/laberba/elementaryOS-devbook

The simplewindow code example doesn't compile with error:
valac --pkg gtk+-3.0 simplewindow.vala:6.27-6.32: error: The name Window' does not exist in the context of main' Gtk.Window window = new Window();

It does compile when Gtk.Window window = new Window(); changed to var window = new Gtk.Window ();

This project needs a License.

I would love to contribute to this project, I'm not a particularly good programming and specially in Vala, but I'm interested in collaborate and If I can translate this tutorial to Spanish.

In order to do that, the first thing I need is a license otherwise I should start from a scratch and I don't want it.

A Creative Common License would be useful.

Also the code should have a License.
