The returned models from this module can be used to estimate the expected power from a turbine or wind farm given the wind speed vs power data from normal operating conditions.

This module takes raw scada data as input and returns two subsets of the original data representing normal and abnormal operations.

The subset of the original data filtered as normal operations may be used to create an operational power curve model using different approaches. Furthermore, the operational power curve model can be used to estimate/predict the expected power from a given turbine or farm.

The returned abnormal datapoints can be treated as underperformance events which could be downtimes, curtailments, efficiency issues and so on. Another module may be developed to perform this classification.

This improves robustness of the code base when there are other contributors to the project.
