covid's Issues

recent data

Is recent data from April also available? I don't understand how to use the update.sh file - does that solve the issue?

Confirmed cases vs Actual cases

Hello,

In the video you mentioned that sadly there's no actual case numbers available, but only confirmed numbers.

While that's true, it's not end of world. There's a good way to estimate those Actual cases based on Pueyo method. See my visualization of it in action at https://pandemic-estimator.net .

I loved your video because I care that charts convey a meaningful message. Let me know if you wish to do something cool together. Cheers!

Compare each state in the US

Great work on this project! The site is easy to use and informative. ๐Ÿ‘

I was wondering if would be possible to create a version where each of the states could be compared in a similar way. The data could be interesting since the health care is similar between each state but each governor's response to this crisis has been different.

What are 'a', 'b', 'c', and 'd' in Logisitic function?

Can someone please help me understand what do 'a', 'b', 'c' and 'd' represent in the logistic function? So far, I am only able to understand that 'b' represents 'growth rate', but what do other variables imply. I would be really thankful if someone can help me out understanding this.

Kaggle

Hey,

Have you considered moving your notebook to kaggle.com? It will make it more easily discoverable and people could fork it to play with the data.

You'll be able to easily upload your notebook as a starter:

Include data for total deaths

Amazing approach! finally I have feeling that I can get better inside (based on this site https://aatishb.com/covidtrends/). Thank you! I was just wondering if you could add data for total deaths? I think it would show how each country fights with the virus. There might be countries with high number of total cases but low number of total deaths, etc... I was thinking maybe change size/colour of the circle at the end of the graph line, or thickness of the lines? What do you think?
