A Whitebox Packages project that provisions a Mac for deployment in a digital interactive installation.
Executing this package will:
- Set hostname
- Disable system sleep
- Disable display sleep
- Enable wake on ethernet
- Restart on power failure/freeze
- Schedule shutdown for 2am and poweron for 6:45am
- Disable bluetooth and associated prompts
- Turn on Remote Desktop Sharing, allow access for all users, and enable the menu extra
- Disable : SystemPreferences -> AppStore -> Automatically check for updates
- Setup auto login
- Set wallpaper
- Disable screensaver
- Auto hide dock
- Span all displays
- Disable notification center service
- Disable Warning on opening new App
- Disable the “Are you sure you want to open this application?” dialog
- Disable resume system-wide
- Disable resume per application
- Disable crash reporter
- Disable the “reopen windows when logging back in” option
- Turn off natural scroll direction
- Disable smart quotes and dashes
