Styled-Components missing

Hi,

First of all amazing tool. Great Job.

As you might already know, styled-components is one of the most used libraries and it is missing from the search. Of course, I can add it to the address bar URL and compare but I feel it would be great if it shows up in the search as the libs with far fewer downloads show up in the search.

I feel styled-components is essential when you go to compare any CSS-in-JS libraries.

Could you please consider adding it?

Thanks

react framework is a combination of react and react-dom, comparison only accounts one

Hey @aantipov

Thanks for making this project, this is very promising!

For React, it's a combination of react (the library) and the react-dom (the renderer).

So I'm not sure how are you gonna factor that. Because if you check the comparison of the frameworks, it looks like React is very tiny which is a bit misleading. Since they just moved the renderer part to a different package (they used to be on a single package, like vue, preact, etc).

Anyway, thanks for making this, looking forward to its success.

Feature Request: Comparison suggestion

Enter a package and get recommendations of similar packages to compare (based on comparisons of others).

This way Moiva also allows to discover valid alternatives for a given package

Feature Request: Show TypeScript Definition Status

It would be really helpful to see the status of TypeScript definitions for a package. If there aren't definitions available, that becomes a huge consideration for a TS developer when evaluating if they should use a library.

I would propose three states for TS definitions:

  • Unavailable/Unknown
  • Bundled with Package
  • Available from DefinitelyTyped

Put most popular packages on homepage

Having the most popular packages per different categories on the homepage would be helpful. Its something that is missing from NPM too!

You can look at this post for some category ideas.

I wish you success with the project.
