On your ReadMe it says:
"WD DL2100 and WD DL4100 are not supported because of ARM architecture."

I just wanted to point out, that is wrong. Both the DL2100 and DL4100 have Intel Atom CPUs. This link isn't an official but I believe it to be accurate.

I also have a DL2100 and this is what /proc/cpuinfo says

After building img via QEMU in Packer process and burning it into USB drive via dd, there is no clear way of resizing root volume that will actually work.

I wrote a slightly updated guide that works around the hardware control issues on newer Ubuntu versions. Maybe just keep this issue here for people who are in the same situation I was in yesterday 👍

I have small improvements for the instructions on mac os:

For getting the usb stick device name we can use:
diskutil list

And before booting it's necessary to use:
diskutil unmountdisk diskX

Setting an alias for kvm was not possible for me. So I was using qemu-system-x86_64.

I wanne use raid 1 with two disc inside the PR2100.

Is the PR2100 having a hardware raid? How can I install raid 1 with empty discs?

I was reading ZFS has a bad performance, so I would like to use a native or software raid.
