gta-done(or Get the Assignment – done)

Have you ever had a long assignment that needs to be handwritten? Are you a student who is bored of making a pdf of it? This can be accomplished quickly with this app!


How does it work?

Simply paste your word, sentence, or paragraph (including punctuation) into the text field and hit the submit button. It brings you to another page with the handwritten version of the text which you can either print or download as a PDF to submit as your assignment.

Executing this project on your PC

  • You need to clone this repository on your PC
  • In the terminal enter following command to download required resources
pip install -r requirements.txt
  • To run this WebApp enter following in the terminal
python app.py

add custom font selection

Right now it works for only one kind of font, although it needs to be available in more fonts, probably through creating custom .ttf or .otf files.

Styling

Polish the UI and make it responsive for all screen sizes

Docker Support

Adding docker support will make it easier for dev's to contribute to this project.

UI changes

The UI needs to be less flashy (less neon vibes) and more sober.

Output as PDF document

I would like to add a feature which would convert the output to PDF.

If you think this feature should be added I would like to work on it. Do assign it to me 😄 .
