ah's Issues

Error occured on fetching command number

When I execute (ls as example) ah t -- ls
I recieve at the end of the execution:
Error occured on fetching command number: Cannot detect proper command: Cannot find anything in the time range

and the command output is not saved.

I use fish shell version 2.1.0

Curses apps works incorrectly

Hi,

So, curses apps work incorrectly with ah. E.g ah t -- htop has a lot of glitches. But htop through ssh works flawlessly.

Right now I do not have knowledge of how to support that type of apps and I need for your help.

"FATAL | Impossible to detect current user"

When I download the Darwin x86_64 release of 0.9, chmod +x and move to /usr/local/bin/ah, run it, I get the following:

โžœ ~ ah
FATAL | Impossible to detect current user

Any ideas?

invalid cross-device link. Get it here:

Hi!

Thanks for ah!

Got this error message on linux:
"Cannot save trace: rename /tmp/ah193667227 /home//.ah/traces/39bdec46c4709dc800a82c8c163357a4: invalid cross-device link. Get it here: /tmp/ah193667227"

/home and /tmp are on different devices.

That's EXDEV for rename(2):
"EXDEV oldpath and newpath are not on the same mounted filesystem."

Is it possible to change the directory for temporary files from /tmp to /home, or other workaround?

Reverse intelligent search

Saving output history solves one half of the problem. Finding a history item should be as easy as saving. I think this may be accomplished with a search feature just like reverse-search-history in bash, but with some cut of the found output. Then an editor of user's choice may be used to open the selected output. Short outputs may be printed directly to stdout.
