Introduction

Welcome to the staging area of 96Boards projects. This repository is used by the community to submit their projects into 96Boards Projects Org.

What is Staging area?

Staging area is the place where the community submit their projects for review. Once it gets reviewed by the 96Boards team, project will get migrated into 96Boards Projects Org. From there on the author who contributed the project will be granted full access to their repo.

How can I submit the project?

96Boards Media Sever

This project is a set of instructions to make any 96Boards CE running Debian Linux into a Media Server.

This project utilizes the miniDLNA and UPNP(Universal Plug and Play) protocols to make steaming multimedia content from a 96Boards CE device to any Smart Phone/TV or Computer connected to your local network a breeze.

96Boards Carbon Rover using Zephyr

The Carbon Rover is a 4 WD Robot that uses 6 ultrasonic sensors and 6 IR sensors for object and edge detection.
The ultrasonic sensors make sure that the rover doesn't bump into objects in it's path and the IR sensors are used to detect edges so it doesn't fall off.
The Rover is programmed using Zephyr RTOS and heavily relies on its multi-threading functionality to collect sensor data and control the motors at the same time.
Since this is Rev 1. there is no control mechanism and the rover follows a pre-defined path, Rev 2 will possibly include control via Bluetooth.
