crash on SDK-5.0.0 (with Cura 3.6.0) -- consider dropping support for < SDK-6.0.0

My rejection message may have been garbled a bit, so I'm posting here as well.

When testing the plugin with 3.6.0 (with the SDK-5.0.0 version package), it will not load the plugin:

Ultimaker: 2020-10-07 09:29:54,333 - WARNING - [MainThread] UM.PluginRegistry.loadPlugin [402]: Plugin Duplicate uses an incompatible API version, ignoring
When I force the API to 5 instead of 7 in the plugin.json (since that might've been an oversight), I get the impression that this wasn't meant to work with that version:

Line Width changes

Using Cura 4.8.0
I have a self build 4-tool change printer. Have different nozzle sizes on tools.
I notice when doing a duplicate that line widths change under the Quality category. The widths are really a function of nozzle size. I am not familiar with pyhton but I cannot see a deliberate attempt to duplicate the 'Quality' tree.

If I edited the python how do I get this into cura.
