Transpose data in CSV files

Change the way data are stored in data_spectrum.csv and data_time_power.csv files that are emailed to user. Transpose rows and columns - to store samples in rows instead of columns.

Current layout:

foo 1000 1001 1002 ...
bar 2000 2001 2002 ...

Proposed layout:

foo bar
1000 2000
1001 2001
1002 2002
... ...

Current CSV file layout prevents LibreOffice Calc from reading all the data. LibreOffice error: "The data could not be loaded completely because the maximum number of columns per sheet was exceeded".

Time Series File showing Power to 3DP

Hi There

Love your work. I have a 2.3M dish that I have planning on going live with VIRGO in a couple of weeks, meanwhile I was generating some data with PICTOR to play with.

I ran a test on Pictor and when I looked at the Time Series data it appears that the Relative Power column is only showing 3DP "0.010" across all time time slots. I am assuming that Column 1 is Time & Column 2 is Relative Power.

The graph is displaying values to 6DP.

See below.

Running Instructions

Hi Apostolos,

Hope you are well. My feedhorn is pretty much there, the RTL.SDR is installed and polling. I just need to mount the stand, the dish and the feedhorne, connect the LNA and the RTL.SDR and install the software (yours). I say 'just' I'm sure there will be a lot of problem-solving.

Are there some installation or running instructions for your code? Do I just download them into a directory and type python3 xxxxxxxxx.py or something?

Please could you update the readme with how to do it?

Tx

Kind regards

Steve.

Send Raw Data

Hi! One thing that I've felt was missing from the PICTOR experience was the ability to have the raw data. It's nice to quickly see the results of an observation, but it's hard to do precise analysis of the data. Would it be possible to have an option when you submit the obs. request to receive the raw data file, perhaps in a csv file, for each of the graphs?

Yannicks GitHub link doesnt work (anymore?)

How to configure position

For example, I want to observe the 21cm line from the galaxy center, how to configure PICTOR to aim at the Galaxy Center
