@carlokok I'm not sure I fully understand the question -- are you referring to the @-mentions filter only showing the message that were mentioned, and not the rest of the stream's content? The intent is that you can then click to narrow on the individual conversations where you were mentioned to get additional context.

@timabbott: For @ mentions zulip shows on each stream if there was one, however for regular messages there's no indication on a stream that there's something to read in it.

Can you post a screenshot? Unread message counts on each stream are displayed as numbers next to the relevant streams in the left sidebar...
