Took me a while to figure out what was causing those test failures since they don't always happen. Turns out the problem is that sometimes the create/update event for a document will be broadcast out by Wakeful/Faye before Drowsy has finished writing it to the database. I need to make a change in the Wakeful server so that it holds off on sending the broadcast until after it has received confirmation from Drowsy that the update has been persisted.
