Thanks! Actually, I'm thinking about deadlinks!

How about this?:

for link in $ZPLUG_HOME/bin/*(@)
do
    if [ -L "$link" ] && ! [ -e "$link" ]; then
       command rm -f "$link"
    fi
done

This doesn't seem to clear the symbolic link for local commands e.g. if an entry such as

zplug "/some/bin/", from:"local", as:"command"

was setup in .zshrc and then removed I would expect on the next login for the symbolic link in $ZPLUG_BIN to the local file not to exist.

Even with zplug clean it is not removed because the local file still exists.

It is misleading because zplug list says it is not managing this command even though it is still setup in the path.

Is there a way to remove symbolic links of this nature ?
