+1 problem with bytes fields. Do you have any workaround for this problem ???

It turns out that you can use base64 encoding for bytes fields in JSON: https://developers.google.com/protocol-buffers/docs/proto3#json, so it is possible but you still have the problem that for a large value your JMX will also be very large. That may or may not be a problem for you.
A coworker and I built the solution I proposed in a fork: https://github.com/snapdocs/jmeter-grpc-request/commits/support-bytes-fields. The UI isn't very pretty, but it works. I thought I'd opened a PR for it here, but I guess never got around to it.
