Any plans for this?
Wouldn't checking against compiled LESS make sense?
Then use source maps to map correct locations in the original LESS.

@lahdekorpi Hi Toni: Thanks for the note. Would you be up for making a PR on this?

@LappleApple Sure. But I was just brainstorming how this could be solved. I'll need to test this out and make a proof of concept first. Any ideas for good test data?
I was thinking of putting the existing test CSS files through some CSS -> LESS converter that does nesting and other random magic for some basic test files.

Great that you're willing to help! I'll let @Joneser answer your question in detail, but maybe @prayerslayer (original project creator) will have a note of advice for you as well.

Hi Toni, Thanks a lot for taking some interest in this, I would be interested to hear what you ideas would be. I also need to do some testing with regards to whether post-compiled LESS would provide the required functionality or if we need to do something extra. Will update this issue in the coming days with my findings :)

Post-compiled LESS by itself wouldn't be very useful, but using them with the source maps will point to the correct lines in the original LESS files.
