"Play" and "Play Next" do not fail gracefully about trackma HOT 5 CLOSED

That's weird, it should fail with "No episode found" message box, at least it does for me.
What search path did you define in Global Settings?

Glad it works.

It does take a while to search the first time as it caches the contents of your search path, especially if the folder is big, taking in account that it searches subdirectories. For this reason I advise against using huge folders as your search path like your entire home folder for example.
