Thanks for your feedback.
I also encountered such a problem when I fine-tune model. I solved it by reducing the initial learning rate and learning rate decay. Here are my used option for them: ' --lr 1e-5 --lr_decay 100 '
However, when I train models from scratch, I never encounter such a problem. BTW, when I train the whole model with Titan Xp, it uses about 7.5 Gb GPU memory and about 70s (yours is about 141s) for 100 iterations.
