Suggested implementation:
- Add
withBehaviormethod to theAdapterInterface - Add a
BehaviorCollectionto each adapter implementation constructor. This collection class will have an onlygetmethod which takes a behavior as an argument and either returns a callable which will configure the adapter, or throws an exception on misconfigured behavior. - That callable in case of amqplib will take an Adapter, QueuePrivider, Message and Behavior as arguments and return a new Adapter instance.
