I found out relative path isn't relevant for client loadPath so I updated my config to:
i18nextServer: {
backend: {
- loadPath: './src/locales/{{lng}}/{{ns}}.json',
+ loadPath: './public/locales/{{lng}}/{{ns}}.json',
