Keyboard shortcuts not working on Windows about xournalpp HOT 6 CLOSED

There are lots of messages like:

(com.github.xournalpp.xournalpp:22624): Gdk-WARNING **: 21:11:18.509: Failed to translate keypress (keycode: 90) for group 0 (D0010809) because we could not load the layout.

Can you please take a look at this inkscape issue. Maybe the same solution works for you.

Do you happen to have a Mouse+Keyboard combo device?
If so, setting up your mouse as a Mouse+Keyboard combo in the Settings dialog could fix it.

If not, then are you able to type in a text box for instance? Or if you open the searchbar, can you type in it?

I have a wireless mouse + keyboard attached to a USB receiver. Changing to Mouse+Keyboard didn't help.

Typing in the text box, latex input box or in the searchbar works for normal characters. But I can't use e.g. the arrow keys to move the cursor backwards and forwards.

Compiling now. I'll attach debug info logs when ready.

Input logs:

• drawing a single stroke
• typing Ctrl-Z (has no effect, doesn't erase the stroke)
• closing the window by clicking on the top right X
• clicking on Discard

This did it!

• Added United States-International QWERTY
• Removed United States QWERTY

Everything works now:

• Shortcuts work
• Arrow keys and backspace in Text box, LaTeX box, and search bar work.
