Just an update on Morphs post above, its not actually the memory leak causing the crashes, we were able to rectitfy that issue on our box. What it turns out to be is a stability issue with RCON in minecraft.

And various others listed on JIRA. Going to attempt a scoreboard based reward rather than a direct give and see if modifying the scoreboard rather than the world helps.

By the way, it is always recommended to use the "/scoreboard" command instead of the direct "/give". This is because the commands get executed as soon as the player X votes. This means, if X is not online, "/give" will fail. On the other hand, "/scoreboard" will always work (remember that with "/scoreboard" you can even assign scores to not existing or fake players).

Since the swap to using the Vote response to use scoreboard instead of a direct /give it hasnt had any issues that we've come across. So this at least is something.
