Is there any progress with this issue?
I get a outOfMemoryException when trying to save large DocX files.

This is quite an old issue, using Novacode. Please try Xceed version and let us know. Also how large are we talking? I've successfully generated 150 pages documents and in your case, you're not showing much information to go on. Could you produce a sample is problematic for you? While I don't do dev anymore just looking at your example tells me it's not much information to go on.

Hi, i think document.save() will save to disk but won't empty the images list of the document thus resulting that a number of big images will result in a memory exception.

Can you try with the latest version v1.6 available here (https://xceed.com/xceed-words-for-net/) to see if this is still an issue ?
Also, could you submit a sample project showing the issue ?
