I'm very much in favour of not having broken links if possible. I'd rather just unlink the text than leave it broken. Even if it is 2014.
Also makes link checking current content harder.

Where is that linked from?

The Speaker section, which is http://conf.writethedocs.org/na/2014/#cfp
All speaker links. And any links in schedule apparently.

Ah yea. We removed the old docs.

that stuff into a standard site framework once we have that.

Or just delink it? 👿
from www.
Or just not worry about it because it's from 2014?

Yea -- I think we don't have any historical abstracts because they were in the old docs
repo that got killed. I have it on my list to salvage them into a similar format as current years.

To fix this issue, I'm going to try updating the old writethedocs.github.com
repository and see what happens.

The only time certain strings appear is on writethedocs.github.com/na/2014/index.html
, which I'm sure was auto-generated from some source files.

OK, speaking with @plaindocs, we've decided to edit the straight html to remove the links since the content they're linking to isn't there. (@ericholscher said the info is in some file somewhere inaccessible right now.) We can always add the links back at some point, though, let's be honest, that will never happen.

I manually edited the HTML page in the writethedocs.github.com
repository and opened a pull request.

@plaindocs merged my pull request. It is done.
