Locked Out of Adminimize Settings (Super Admin) - Unable to Reset about adminimize HOT 12 CLOSED

if you deactivate the plugin, like via ftp with a rename of the folder, then is it not active, no hiding of areas, menu items. If you have no access after this step, I think your cache is active and you should flush them. The plugin works only, if is active.

Thanks @bueltge - I've purged page-cache, the CDN cache, and the object cache, but the problems remains. Any advice would be appreciated.

1. Delete plug-in from SFTP
2. Purge all caches
3. Clear cookies/browser cache
4. Download fresh plugin > Install
5. Activate plugin on site
6. Adminimize setting remain. Unable to see Adminimize settings or other hidden menu items.

But, after you remove the plugin or deactivated the plugin, you should see all items. If the plugin is not active or exists, then is the hiding via plugin not possible. Please deactivate all plugins, maybe a other one have this functionality. Maybe, also it give the possibility, that the theme have functions to hide back end areas.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. After the plugin is removed, I can see all menus.
However, every time I re-install the plugin the same settings are retained.
Are the settings stored in the mySQL DB somewhere, but are not removed when the plugin is deleted?
Simply, how can I completely remove Adminimize, so I can do a clean install.

Before you remove the plugin via FTP or Uninstall option in the back end, use the uninstall option on the settings page of the plugin. This remove this option entry in the database. Not more is in your install from this plugin. If you will refresh all settings, you can also use this uninstall option on the settings page. After clear the database, you can refresh all items of the settings page of Adminimize, if you will usage.

As I have hidden the adminimize settings with adminimize, I can't follow
these instructions to get to the uninstall option.

Go on the Adminimize settings page, click in the 'Mini Menu' on Line 'Uninstall Options'. In this area, set the checkbox for uninstalling the settings and click 'Delete Options'. Now, the entry in the database are killed. Now use the default wp unsinstalltion of the plugin - go the the plugin page and use the delete option (Link under each plugin) to remove the plugin. Maybe better?

I'm unable to get to the Adminimize settings page, because it's hidden by
Adminimize settings.
I'm a Super Admin.

If you have all capabilities in your role, also the manage_options capa, than can you access the settings page. You can hide it, but the access is possible about the URL - like: wp-admin/options-general.php?page=Adminimize%2Fadminimize.php (maybe wp-admin/options-general.php?page=adminimize%2Fadminimize.php)
