Did you test it with WP CLI 2.0.1 or later? Since this issue is 4 years old it might have been fixed in the meantime

I know, that's the version I reported it for though. So if @hbhalodia says he cannot reproduce it with the latest version, he also needs to check it with the old version too, to ensure it still fails there (otherwise his reproduction is wrong)

Meanwhile, version 2.0.1 is very outdated, so there is no point to reproduce or try to reproduce this issue at that version because users would be using latest version of CLI, if not they should be upgrade to that version to use some latest/new features too.
