couldn't connect to exist-db from VsCode about existdb-langserver HOT 2 CLOSED

Thank you Mr.Lauml. That problem was solved for me and I have been working with VS Code for the past several months. Seems I forgot to close the issue. Thanks again and your response may help others with similar problem.

Hey,

just some ideas that worked for me:

1. Have you added the folder to your workspace?
2. write "root": "/db/apps/SrikoshNew"
3. open an xquery file of your app in visual studio code and see if the server side xar is asked to install automatically. If yes install it. This worked for me (even though I previously had installed the xar manually via exists package manager) and the icon appeared.

If nothing of the above seem to be the problem, maybe it is also because the app expects the admin password to be empty? I am not sure about this, but when I tried to get the plugin going for the first time I had an admin password aswell and it would not work. So I reinstalled exist and left the admin password blank.

Hope this helps a bit. Would be happy to hear when you found out where the problem was.
