Demo Not working in Android about phonegap-facebook-plugin HOT 4 CLOSED

Hi,
the appId is a string. it does work on the emulator. However I have exactly the same problem on the real phone.
Did you also change the AndroidManifest.xml (meta-data android:name="app_secret" ...)

I just commited my "emulator working" eclipse version on https://github.com/loictalbot/HelloPhoneGap/ . You just need to write your own appId and app secret.

updated : nov 16th: my problem on a device was related to apk signature. I've found an explanation here : http://sean.lyn.ch/
So the example works for me

I have a similar problem, the given Android example does not work. loictalbot, your code works great on the emulator and my xperia x8 (Android 2.1) but I just get a facebook spinner taking forever on HTC Panache (Android 2.3) when I click login. Can you explain how your HelloPhoneGap code is different from the example?

Hi whistler, the project I did on github is just the "eclipsified" version of the phonegap example. I thought it was worth it because they are a lot of small instructions to follow to make it work. To me I haven't changed anything, (i'll check a 2nd time). did you also change the target to android 2.3 in eclipse ?
update: also, is the facebook app installed on your 2.3 device ?(issue #58)

Hey guys, I pushed a lot of updates today + yesterday. Please take a look. It works for me using phonegap-1.3.0 and using the node-based quick install script. See instructions in the readme. Going to close this for now, if you still have problems open it back up.
