Sounds like a misconfig on your end. If it's a Slack channel, make sure your SlackApp has the following permissions (scope):
- files:read
- files:write:user
- chat:write:bot
- chat:write:user
- channels:history
- channels:read
- channels:write
if it's a uncsharefile channel, make sure the user the gateway is running as can:
A) Access the file share over the network
B) Has access rights to the file share

Hello,
Still playing with the tool to get the most out of it. When ever I try to bind to the external_c2 I get this error: Trapped Java.lang.NullPointerException during external C2 session [External C2 client]: null
Please what am I doing wrong

can you show me the full output from the teamserver? For example:
[*] Will use existing X509 certificate and keystore (for SSL)
[+] Team server is up on 50050
[*] SHA256 hash of SSL cert is: ....

Before you stage a beacon, setup a listener in cobalt strike.
For example a http listener on port 8080. You don’t have to do anything with it.
I can’t reproduce your issue though sorry

Issue may also be caused by out of date Cobalt Strike. I'm using version 3.14
