I pulled the latest commits and the autorotation is often incorrect (e.g turning the wrong way) especially when I set a parentview

Thanks @TomDoes; the parentView code does not support rotation at all (and is going to be removed soon).
The rotation is indeed off sometimes. I'll try to find out the reason behind and roll out a fix asap.

My temporary solution is to lock the screen orientation while the alert is
visible. Thanks for your efforts!

Rotation should be sorted for IOS8+ and IOS7. I'm closing the related issues now, please reopen a new one if necessary.
