Hrm, menu.json is loaded from a webserver so already released separately from Giggity itself, exactly for reasons like this.. It's been like that from the start, I never wanted to have to do releases just for getting a new event into the menu.
The copy on https://wilmer.gaa.st/deoxide/menu.json does appear to be in sync with the one in this repo. What are you seeing out of sync exactly?

ah... i missed that one - that explains a lot.
I was thinking this is included at compile time, as it´s in same repo...
nevermind - I'm happy now. :)
