Hey, I hadn't thought about hooking a thermal printer up, but it certainly could be done. I'd say edit the newTransaction method to include some printing function, using the amount and address as arguments.

As for the balance, I hadn't thought about that, either. Would this be the balance of all the transaction addresses or the balance of the forwarding address or perhaps a total for that day? What would you think would be a good method of accessing this from a numpad?

I have thought about the printer, and I think that a receipt should be printed every time a transaction is made, after the payment approved screen for the merchants record. If the customer wants one, the merchant could press plus once for each extra copy, then press enter when done to return to the waiting screen.
For checking balance, I think that the balance should be the total balance of the single address that all of the merchant's bitcoins are deposited into (maybe requires manual config? I am unfamiliar with blockchain Api). To access it, maybe press the / key at the waiting screen to show the balance, and enter to return to the waiting screen?

Sorry for lack of post, have been busy will push a modified version soon, had any1 had any luck with displaying the balance? Also, in case of error, would it not be safer to use a config file for blockchain credentials?
