Why "all applications should be named as *_app"? To not confuse them with non-django modules?

We try to contain all application specific logic inside app dirs.
For example, if you have logics that is working with users it goes to:

server
- main_app
- orders_app
- users_app
- - logics
- - - some_module.py  # <- the logic goes here

Got it about logics, but why _app? In this example, it looks redundant. Why is it better than

Maybe it makes sense if server dir is cluttered with nondjango modules.
